Mary began sewing at the age of eight and had her first customer by the time she was eleven. Yes it was only a wrap-around skirt, but it was her beginning. She realized early on that she could convert her love of fine fabrics and design into a business. She started her professional business in Westport, Conn., just an hour outside New York City. She has always had a passion for design and fine fabrics
and now twenty seven years later still has that passion. She has lived in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Scottsdale and now Boise, Idaho. She has loyal clientele across the US.

A visit to Mary’s studio and ‘shopping trip’ through her closets and racks offer a wide variety of unique fabrics and trims. The detail of fabric, trim and style do not complete the picture of Mary’s expertise though. She considers personality, coloring, and body type of the individual she is designing and sewing for. She has the ability to modify a design or advise an alternative style if she feels the style would not be flattering for her client.
